Rebuilding the World, One Friendship at a Time
“in showing up for others, we grow more patient, compassionate, and whole” In Parashat Noach, the Torah introduces us to a man who “found favor in the eyes of HaShem” (Bereishit 6:8). Noach was righteous in his generation, a man of integrity in a world filled with corruption and violence. Yet, interestingly, the Torah also paints him as somewhat alone. He builds the ark with his family, but not with a community. He walks with G-d, but not with others. We read in Parashat Noac
